Qualifications
- Must be existing single family, multifamily, or manufactured home, not new construction (?) New construction is defined as any home built within the last year.
- Home’s primary heat source must have been a permanently installed electric furnace, heat pump, or electric zonal heating system (baseboard or ceiling/wall heater)
- Window must have a U-Factor of no more than 0.30
(?) Doors or skylights must be 80% glass by square footage to qualify and must meet the program’s U-Factor requirements.
- Windows must be installed according to the specifications outlined in the Wyoming Technical Specifications Manual
- Insulation may be self-installed or completed by a Program Weatherization Contractor

- Application must be submitted within 90 days of the work completion date
Incentives are associated with the most recent tariff filing approved by the Wyoming Public Service Commission . All incentives are subject to change with 45 days’ notice. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
Residential electric customers residing in the state of Wyoming who purchase their electricity from Rocky Mountain Power on rate schedules 2 or 18 qualify. Landlords who own rental properties served by the company in the state of Wyoming where the tenant is billed on rate schedules 2 or 18 also qualify for this program. You can locate your rate schedule on your bill or by calling 1-888-221-7070. Incentive checks are only issued in the name of the Rocky Mountain Power account holder.
