Qualifications
- Must be existing single family or multifamily, not new construction (?) New construction is defined as any home built within the last year.
- Home must be built before 2013
- Pre-existing R-value must be less than or equal to R-20
- Final R-value depth must be equal to greater than R-49
- Home must be either electrically heated or electrically cooled
(?) Electric heating is defined as a permanently installed electric furnace, heat pump, or electric zonal heating system (baseboard or ceiling/wall heaters) serving as the home’s current primary heat source. Electric cooling is defined as a permanently installed central air conditioner or heat pump serving as the home’s primary cooling source.
- Insulation may be self-installed or completed by a Program Weatherization Contractor

- Heat pump must be installed according to the specifications outlined in the Wyoming Technical Specifications Manual
- Application must be submitted within 90 days of the work completion date

Residential electric customers residing in the state of Wyoming who purchase their electricity from Rocky Mountain Power on rate schedules 2 or 18 qualify. Landlords who own rental properties served by the company in the state of Wyoming where the tenant is billed on rate schedules 2 or 18 also qualify for this program. You can locate your rate schedule on your bill or by calling 1-888-221-7070. Incentive checks are only issued in the name of the Rocky Mountain Power account holder.
