If you are submitting windows with multiple U-Factors please submit an application for windows with U-Factor 0.22 or lower and a separate application for windows U-Factor 0.23 – 0.30. Explain what a U-Factor is
Qualifications
- Must be existing single family, multifamily, or manufactured home.
- Work must comply with all building codes and standards.
- Window must have a U-Factor of no more than 0.30
- Doors or skylights must be 80% glass by square footage and have U-Factor of no more than 0.30
- Home must have an electric heating system or gas furnace with CAC system must serve at least 80% of the home’s conditioned living space
- Windows must be installed in finished or conditioned living spaces with a permanently installed heating system.
- Windows must be installed according to the specifications outlined in the Utah Technical Specifications Manual
- Windows may be installed by a program-eligible contractor or self-installed by homeowner.
- Windows must be installed within 180 days of purchase
- Window units that have previously received an incentive through the program do not qualify for additional incentives if replaced

Incentives are associated with the most recent tariff filing approved by the Utah Public Service Commission. All incentives are subject to change with 45 days' notice. Additional terms and conditions may apply.
Residential electric customers residing in the state of Utah who purchase their electricity from Rocky Mountain Power on rate schedules 1, 2, or 3 qualify. Landlords who own rental properties served by the company in the state of Utah where the tenant is billed on rate schedules 1, 2 or 3 also qualify for this program. You can locate your rate schedule on your bill or by calling 1-888-221-7070. Incentive checks are only issued in the name of the Rocky Mountain Power account holder.
